A leading gas distributor implemented Campost™ on a trial site to improve perimeter protection, reduce project costs, and support the government’s carbon reduction targets.

The objective: to safeguard assets and ensure 24-hour security while minimising environmental and spatial impact.

Integrated Protection for Critical Operations

The project required continuous asset protection and secure gas supply monitoring.

Our design incorporated 358 weldmesh perimeter fencing with razor wire topping — blending into the environment while maintaining strong deterrence.

Through a holistic approach, we fully integrated the system into the Command Centre, combining the latest laser intruder detection, access control, and CCTV monitoring for round-the-clock situational awareness.

Only authorised personnel could enter, verified through advanced access control systems that capture entry data, enforce health and safety protocols, and eliminate dependence on keys or non-approved access.

Innovation Through Campost™

At the heart of the project was the Campost™ innovation — combining CCTV, lighting, and audio directly into the perimeter fencing, eliminating the need for separate camera towers or bases.

This design provided:

– 12% overall project cost savings
– Reduced environmental footprint
– Expanded usable land for future utility growth

The result: a future-proofed, space-efficient, and low-maintenance security system that supports 24-hour operations and delivers measurable long-term value.
